I am co nsidering buying the Bogs Women's Essential Light wellingtons for both winter walks in muddy conditions and for autumn/winter conservation work on rough sometimes boggy ground. Can you tell me whether these boots will be suitable, and if so what size I should get ? I take a 7 to 7.5 in shoes, I wear thick socks inside wellingtons though maybe with better quality boots this isn't so necessary? Also, is the neoprene upper waterproof? Thanks for your help.
